The Udaiti Foundation is a not-for-profit focused on catalyzing Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) in India. Our focus is on improving the availability and accessibility of quality work for women, addressing barriers to women’s work and entrepreneurship, and strengthening enablers that can create impact. We aim for every Indian woman to achieve her full economic potential.
The Women's Formal Employment Tracker looks to aggregate, analyze and visualize gender-disaggregated data to create a consolidated database of gender metrics in the private sector, including gender composition of workers across industries at different levels, designations, pay scales, and other relevant indicators.
The EPFO Tracker aims to generate valuable gender-specific insights from the monthly payroll data published by EPFO. It enables the analysis of trends in women's participation in the formal sector from FY 2020-21 to FY 2023-24, both overall and by age group, thus providing a clear picture of the evolving landscape of female employment.
